Present situation and prospect of glass container packaging

According to a recent survey by Owens-Illinois (O-I), a global manufacturer of packaging products and glass containers, consumers around the world prefer to buy food and drink in glass containers over other packaging materials.  But it is still hard for them to find their favorite brand's glass-wrapped products on supermarket shelves.

Consumer thinks vitreous material wants to be better than other packing material, basically because it has purity tall, safety is strong, quality is good, function is much and can recycle use these 5 big characteristics. 

Despite consumers' preference for glass containers, such packaging may struggle to make it onto store shelves in large numbers.  Survey results on food packaging show that 91% of consumers say they prefer glass packaging, but glass packaging only accounts for about 10% of the market share in the food industry.  

According to O-I, the application scale of glass packaging in the market is not up to customers' expectations for two main reasons. One is that consumers' preferred 

brands do not use glass packaging;  The second is that the stores most frequented by consumers are not packed in glass containers.  

In addition, other survey data also reflect consumer preferences for certain types of food packaging.  Data showed that 84 percent of respondents preferred beer served in glass containers, especially in European countries.  There is also a strong consumer demand for canned food packaged in glass.  

Among consumers surveyed, 91 percent prefer food packaged in glass, especially in Latin American countries (95 percent).  In addition, glass is the preferred packaging form for wine consumers, favored by 98 percent of consumers. 

Glass bottles are flexible enough to produce a variety of packaging effects

2. The cooling flower bottom of the glass bottle is clearly produced by the line machine, while the artificial machine is not clear and obvious.  

3. Because the manual machine is water cooling, and the assembly line process is the combination of air and wind cooling, the smoothness of the glass bottle body produced by the line machine process is smoother than the manual machine, uniform, clear bottle wall, strong transparency.  

4. At the bottom of the glass bottle, you can't see the dull head mark produced by manual machine, while you can see the obvious dull head mark in the process of line machine.  

5. Several glass bottles are placed side by side, so that the assembly-line bottles look neat and reflect the light at the same Angle.  

In general, the glass bottle process line production process is much better than manual machine production of glass bottles, it can adapt to the automatic production of various filling and sealing machines.
